Hayle.
Paradise Park and the World Parrot Trust. With no one from Monty Python in sight, this is a must for parrot fanciers. With the Parrot Jungle, Tropical House, Cornish Otter Sanctuary red squirrels, red pandas, and penguins there is a lot here to see.

Helston.
National Seal Sanctuary, Gweek. This is where the lucky seal who is injured or sick ends up, to be cared for until they are ready to be released back to the wild. The great work being done by the Centre's volunteers can be appreciated as you walk round the pens and see these enchanting creatures getting better. Also has an otter facility.

Bristol. Important city with strong maritime tradition.
Bristol Zoo.

Cheltenham.
Birdland Park and Gardens. Seven acres of woodland, river and gardens inhabited by over 500 birds; flamingos, pelicans and penguins to parrots, hornbills, toucans and many more. Tropical, temperate and desert houses.

Ilfracombe.
Ilfracombe Aquarium. This exciting all weather attraction is looking forward to welcoming you to discover the aquatic delights living around North Devon, at the Old Lifeboat House, Ilfracombe Harbour.

Newquay.
Blue Reef Aquarium. Over 30 displays of the underwater worlds of the Cornish coastline, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and elsewhere.


Newquay Zoo.

Paignton.
Paignton Zoo. Set in a 75 acre natural setting, its an opportunity to find out all about the world's endangered species. Over Ł6 million has been spent in creating one of the best Zoos in the country.

Plymouth.
National Aquarium. Britains biggest Aquarium with Europe's deepest tank. See sharks, seahorses, tropical fish, and Snorkel, the turtle with the big personality.

Torquay.
Living Coasts. See life where the sea meets the shore and find out more about marine conservation.

Weston-Super-Mare. Seaside resort.
Sea life Centre. See all kinds of fish close up.
