There is an awful lot to see in the South West of England, from the richness of its museums to the many gardens that benefit from the milder weather - particularly in Cornwall.
The development of facilties for visitors means that it is sometimes difficult to classify various attractions. Where do you put the magnificent Eden Project? The answer is Botanical Gardens but somehow it is so much more than that. Historic house or garden, when so many lovely houses have lovely gardens surrounding them? At what stage does a lively museum with loads of activities become more leisure park than museum? Is Longleat a zoo or a leisure park?
So be prepared to look at all the things to see here in the SW of Engalnd. There are plenty of pleasurable surprises round the corner!
