Hams
and sausages all have their regional identity founded in centuries of tradition,
and the South West of France is no exception. Bayonne ham is justly renowned
while the spicy chorizo adds that certain piquancy to a simple plate of charcuterie
or to a paella or cassoulet. And there is no doubting the seriousness with which
Jean Lafargue approaches his task of creating the finest examples of these
delicacies: his list of prix d'excellence, first prizes and gold and
silver medals at international competitions bear witness to that.
Now his hams and sausages are available to international gourmands - with the exception, sadly, of the United States. Please note that most of the prices below are per kilo.
All conserves are guaranteed for three years. Semi-conserves are guaranteed for six months kept in a refrigerator.
We deeply regret we cannot yet send to the United States - we have tried getting in touch with the Dept of Agriculture but so far they have not returned our calls!
