ROBERT Le Héros - chic, evocative, lyrical designs celebrating French culture and history with originality and flair. And we are just talking about tea towels! There is, of course, no reason why you should not dry up with Baudelaire or Verlaine but these lovely and stylish creations are also well worth framing or collecting - and they make superb gifts.

And now a new and elegant touch for that intimate table: the double place mat - for that special dinner à deux, a garden table in the scented shade of a tree, or perhaps just the coffee table. Two of these great designs are available as double place mats with matching napkins, incorporating the romantic wisdom of Baudelaire and Apollinaire

Robert le Héros is the name used by four remarkably talented ladies in Paris who for this collection have drawn on the inspiration of great French poets, kings and romantic figures from the tradition of South West France: Henri IV, France's protestant king, those enduring adventurers the Musketeers, and Cyrano de Bergerac.

The tea towels are 55 cm x 75 cm (1'9" x 2'5") and are 100% damask cotton.

Double place mats are 50 cms x 150 cms (1'7" x 4'11"). The napkins are a generous 50 cm (1'7") square. All are made of 100% damask cotton.

The prices are EXCLUSIVE of post and packaging.

POSTAGE & INSURANCE: Postage is calculated by weight. Items will be sent by airmail unless you specify otherwise. NB: express is very expensive. If your package comes to more than 2 kilos it is sent automatically by recorded delivery EXCEPT to N America where they do not believe in such a service. OUTSIDE N America if you tick the insurance box for items less than 2 kilos they will be sent by recorded delivery. The extra charge is 24 FF. N American clients who want insurance should tick the insurance box whatever the weight. The extra cost is 39 FF upto a value of 500 FF of merchandise and 2.50 FF for each 500FF thereafter.
