In our busy, busy world a good meal prepared by experts other than yourself is often welcome - and what better than a regional dish prepared by a top chef from South West France? Jean Lafargue of Navarrenx, an international medal winner, is already much appreciated at French dinner tables, and now international gourmands can appreciate his art.
Try his cassoulet, that great sustaining regional speciality with haricots beans, sausage and confit; or his palombe en salmis flambée à l'armagnac, a great traditional way of having wood pigeon, itself a speciality of the south west.
All conserves are guaranteed for three years. Semi-conserves are guaranteed for six months kept in a refrigerator.
We deeply regret we cannot yet send to the United States - we have tried getting in touch with the Dept of Agriculture but so far they have not returned our calls!
