These shoes do not have a left and a right - each shoe can be worn on either foot - so if you have feet of different sizes you can have perfectly fitting espadrilles by ordering a pair in each size.

AVAILABILITY: These espadrilles are usually made to order. That way we can offer the widest range of colours and styles. Most are hand-finished by outworkers, so allow about a month for dispatch. The following models and colours can usually be dispatched much sooner: MARIXU (all colours); ASCAIN (adult sizes, black, marine, jeans marine, sand, cream); ORHY (black, marine and jeans marine). SHOE SIZES

The table below shows the approximate equivalent US and UK shoe sizes for the European system, and the overall length of the sole in centimetres. Because the conversions are at best approximate - some people say on the generous side - if in doubt measure your foot..NOTE: Bear in mind that the lengths given are the average length of the outside sole. The inside will, of course, be smaller

These espadrilles are usually made to order, and hand-finished by outworkers, so allow about a month for dispatch. If you are in a hurry Ascain or Orhy in black, marine and jeans marine can usually be dispatched sooner. We have a limited stock so if your need is urgent please contact us. CHRISTMAS ORDERING: Make sure that your order is in by December 1. If you want to send a present for Christmas (or at any other time), but do not know the size you need to order, you can order the espadrilles as normal - leave the size and colour blank. In the COMMENTS section give us the address and email address of the recipient plus any special message. We will send a jolly email at or just before the due date. Then your friend can send us their preferred colour and foot size and we will dispatch within the usual time.

IMPORTANT NOTE on our EXCHANGE POLICY These espadrilles are made to order. We do not hold stock - that way we can keep the prices real low. But it means that unfortunately we are unable to exchange espadrilles for any reason apart from defect in manufacture. If you are in any doubt about the size and you are thinking of buying more than one pair, try one pair first for fit.

POSTAGE & INSURANCE: The prices are EXCLUSIVE of post and packaging. P&P to, for example, the United States will be around 10.60 euros for one pair weighing less than 500 gms. We will normally wait until all your order is ready before dispatching, to minimise postage costs. If you want to get the shoes as and when they are ready, tick the "send as shoes are available" radio button. This may increase the postage.

Postage is calculated by weight. Items will be sent by airmail (or in Europe priority mail) unless you specify otherwise. NB: express is very expensive. If your package comes to more than 2 kilos it is automatically insured. Tick the recommended delivery box for items less than 2 kilos if you want the added security. The extra charge is 5 euros. We no longer offer dispatch by Fedex as we have found them unreliable. If you choose Express it will go by Chronopost, the French express service.

PAYMENT: The easiest way to pay is by credit card: we accept VISA and MASTERCARD. You can Email us your credit card number or, if you prefer, fax us on: +33 (0) 5 59 38 99 11. Sadly we cannot normally accept euro cheques from other European countries - it may be one currency but the bank charges are still extortionate!
