The South West of France is a haven for the active tourist - whatever the level of your activity! If it is something gentle and peaceful you are after, walking around the magnificent scenery, fishing the challenging rivers, a quiet raft-ride down a river, or even cycling round the flatter areas.
But if you want something more challenging it is all here. That gentle walk can become a hike over the mountains; the cyclist can experience the pain of the Tour de France by going up a mountain. And then there is paragliding, potholing… The list just goes on and on.
