ADVERTISING
We have advertised in France Magazine, Trout and Salmon and we have our own site on the Internet. France Magazine and increasingly the Internet are good mediums, we have found.
COMMUNITY MATTERS
The Pyrenees Atlantiques is becoming increasingly popular with British and other Europeans, especially as the road network improves. There is a good sprinkling of Anglophones, with an Anglophone in Aquitaine club based in Pau. There are also German and Danish living in the area.
RyanAir have a daily service from London Stansted to Biarritz, which has made this area very accessible for Britons. Brittany Ferries have been reported as looking at the possibility of starting a ferry service from the UK to Bayonne. However there has been no news on this front for several years.
There are two other hotels in Sauveterre: The Auberge du Saumon is a small unclassified hotel. The Hostellerie du Chateau is closed at the moment and its future is uncertain.
