It is situated in a peaceful village 10 kilometres from Sauveterre in the valley of the Gave de Saison (two minutes walk to the river). This river joins the Gave d'Oloron, France's top salmon river, and is also fished for trout and excellent sea trout. It is just half an hour from the Pyrenees. A new road has recently been built by-passing the village, ensuring tranquility. The river is also popular for kayaking.
