HOTEL DU VIEUX PONT

- Sauveterre-de-Béarn -

VIEW

The Hotel du Vieux Pont at Sauveterre-de-Béarn sits on the banks of one of France's top salmon rivers, the swift moving Gave d'Oloron, on the site of the old medieval Maison du Sénéchal, the arches of which form the foundations of the present building.

High above it the ruined castle and fortifications of old Sauveterre dominate the skyline. Beside it sits the remains of the old Pont de la Légende and this unsurpassed romantic setting makes the hotel one of the most photographed sites in Béarn.
